"Works of power" is a term favored by occultists. (For example, theosophist Helena Blavatsky used this term in
her writings.)
To my knowledge "works of power"
appears only in Darby's translation of the scriptures and the Bible in Basic English. Darby marked his
Bible 15 times with this
phrase.
Matthew 7:22 Many shall say to me
in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied through *thy* name, and through
*thy* name cast out demons, and through *thy* name done many
works of power?
