Zeph Daniel and L. Ron Hubbard Agree: Human Beings are Housed in Meat Bodies

Zeph Daniel Coined a Scientology Term

The Bible says human beings are fearfully and wonderfully made:

I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvellous are thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well. (Psa 139:14)

God created man in his own image:

So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them. Gen. 1:27

Satan despises man, who was created for the purpose of glorifying God, and seeks to spiritually devour those who do not maintain constant watch over their souls:

Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour: 1Pe 5:8

Satan's followers are aware that Satan may devour erring Christians as well as anyone else who gives him place, and they co-labor with him to bring this about. Some have displayed their master's contempt for human beings by marking their writings with slyly-worded catch phrases and definitions.

For example, the late founder of Scientology, L. Ron Hubbard, referred to people who were not yet ensnared by the "Church" as raw meat:

RAW MEAT PRECLEAR, 1. one who has never had Scn processing. (HCOB 16 Jan 68) 2. the guy thinks he's a brain. He doesn't know he's a thetan, he isn't up there and he thinks he's deteriorated into a bit of matter, he thinks he's a body and so forth. Hence this jocular term "raw meat." (SH Spec 43, 6410C20) [bold emphasis added]

Meat is the flesh of animals (including fishes and birds and snails) and is used as food. Therefore, the flesh of human beings is not meat...not unless you view people from Satan's perspective, who is as a lion seeking whom he may devour.

Let us examine the way L. Ron Hubbard and Zeph Daniel view the bodies of human beings.

L. Ron Hubbard is well-known in Scientology circles for referring to human beings as meat bodies. Below is a quote from one of his lectures given in 1963:

STATE OF OT
A lecture given on
23 May 1963

Jupiter - that's a heavy-gravity planet, and if you stepped on the
planet Jupiter in one of these meat bodies that you presently have,
you would become a pancake promptly, you see? And what
atmosphere it has lies in seas of liquid air and so on. You might say
that this is somewhat rigorous as an environment, not completely
similar to Russia but ... And so you do get these various variations.
And it's not all that horrifying, however.
You find somebody running around planet Jupiter, he'd be built to
withstand that climatic condition and that gravitic condition and so
forth and his legs might be a bit modified and his arms and that sort
of thing, but he probably would look like an Eskimo. [bold emphasis added]

(Quote source: Scientology: A Critical View)

Here is another of Hubbard's remarks that reveals that he viewed people from Satan's perspective:

Silly optimist. A person who expects to feel well all the time while running a meat body.

(Quote source: Hubbard, HCO Bulletin of 4 November 1980, ISSUE IV)

Zeph Daniel also refers to the flesh of human beings as meat or meat bodies.

Those who believe that nothing happens after the death of the flesh (meat-covering) are mistaken, as they cannot see the truth—they are blinded by others to misunderstand God’s will in this, and insist there is nothing but judgment at the Throne later on. [bold emphasis added]

Quote source: Z Crossroads (1)

The soul exists eternally—and if you have a meat-body, stuck in the 3rd Dimension, that will die, you are cursed with endless hells, and few causes for joy—as you will suffer and die. [bold emphasis added]

Quote source: One Line, Two Choices (2)

I see the Kingdom… I see the punishment of falling into a meat body. I see it as a gift now—I chose it because it is the ultimate challenge. [bold emphasis added]

Quote source: Z: Entry (3)

Many souls do not wish to give up the identification with their meat-bodies. This is called EGO, or PRIDE. [bold emphasis added]

Quote source: Soul Purpose (4)

The Teaching That Jesus' Body is Literal Meat to be Literally Eaten is a Doctrine of Demons

The Lord Jesus Christ said these words at the Last Supper, or last meal he ate with his disciples before his death:

For my flesh is meat indeed, and my blood is drink indeed.

He that eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, dwelleth in me, and I in him.

As the living Father hath sent me, and I live by the Father: so he that eateth me, even he shall live by me. (1 John 6:55-57)

A careful reading of John, chapter six reveals that the sinless Son of God did not teach  that his flesh was literally meat, or animal flesh to be eaten as literal food. His words, "he that eateth me" are figurative language. The Lord Jesus Christ was not teaching the demonic doctrines of cannibalism, transubstantiation, or that the flesh of man is a meat body.

Human beings are not meat bodies! We are not meat, or animals that are to be used as food. The body of the saved is the temple of God, and the Spirit of God dwells within. (See 1 Corn. 3:16)
