Voting and how
it Affects your Ability to Withstand in the Evil Day
Voting is a
serious matter. It can be likened to bidding God speed to
a candidate. Choosing a candidate is an active choice to
partake of his or her deeds. May they not be deeds of the
"lesser of the evil" kind.
If there come any unto you, and bring not this doctrine,
receive him not into your house, neither bid him God speed:
For he that biddeth him God speed is partaker of his evil
deeds. (2 John 1:10,11)
God commands his people:
". . . Neither give place to the devil." (Eph. 4:27)
It is a fact that you
cannot overcome the world, the flesh and the devil if you
give place to the devil.
To vote
for a puppet of the New World
Order controllers is to vote for the devil to have authority
over you.
No weapon formed against thee shall prosper, and every
tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt
condemn. (Isa. 54:17)
What if you choose to vote
for the weapon (political candidate) who is formed to do
what is against you? Will this promise be in effect then?
No, because you have chosen to submit to the
leader who serves the devil's purposes.
The seventy that were
appointed by the Lord Jesus Christ were given all power over
the enemy. You can be sure they would not be able to do this
if they were in league with the devil through compromise:
Behold, I give unto you
power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all
the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means
hurt you. Luke 10:19
Will
the disciples of Jesus Christ have power through prayer
over the destructive spiritual devices of the enemy if we
ignorantly vote for his agents?
"For we are not ignorant of his
[Satan's]
devices." 2 Cor. 2:11
You are not
resisting the devil if you vote for one of the
devil's New World Order change agents.
"...Resist the devil, and he will flee from
you."
As Christians, our battle is
not against flesh and blood
(political parties) "but against spiritual
wickedness."
"For though we walk in the flesh, we do
not war after the flesh. For the weapons of our warfare are
not carnal..." 2 Cor. 10:3-5
Children of the light cannot
prayerfully counter Satan's
destructive plans
if we choose one of his followers to have authority over us.
One must not cast his vote for the human agents that fulfill
the goals of the rulers of the darkness of this world:
For we wrestle not against
flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers,
against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against
spiritual wickedness in high places. (Eph. 6:12)
Voting
for one of Satan's representatives so that he can rule over us
is a form of giving place to the devil:
"Neither give place to the devil." Eph. 4:27
We cannot stand against the
political and spiritual wiles of the devil if we vote one of his followers to
rule over us:
Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the
wiles of the devil. Eph. 6:11
Satan's Work in the Earth Via His
Elected Agents
Satan is a king in the earth (Rev. 9:11) and his dominion
is that of darkness. (Acts 26:18). He appoints workers of
darkness to carry our his rule in the world. Christians must
submit to the ruling authorities (as long as the ruling
authorities do not require them to disobey God) but we must not fall into the snare of voting Satan's workers into positions of authority.
To
do so is to ensure that we will not be able to counteract
their evil deeds through prayer.
Satan's motives are destructive,
thus the motives of his
followers—who Christians are encouraged (and manipulated) to vote into office—will also be
destructive. (John 10:10, 1 Pet. 5:8)
Satan works to hinder the work and Word of God. (Daniel
10:12, 13), Mark 4:15, 1 Thess. 2:18) His elected
representatives will do the same.
Satan deceives the nations. (Rev. 12:9; 20:3,8). His
elected officials will also operate by way of deception.
Satan afflicts men
spiritually and physically. (2 Cor. 12:7) His agents will pass laws
and policies that accomplish this goal.
Christians are not able to
stand against the wiles of Satan via elected officials if we
give the devil a foothold:
"Neither give place to
the devil." Ephesians 4:7
Christians today can and
must stand against the power of the enemy in prayer but the
ability to successfully pray against the goals of the devil
(via his politicians, ministers, etc.) is not unconditional. Spiritual authority is conditioned upon the Christian's
obedience to the Lord Jesus Christ and his refusal to give place to the devil.
Followers of the Lord
Jesus Christ must not be ignorant of Satan's devices "lest
he should get an advantage of us." (2 Cor. 2:11) Voting for the
"lesser of the evils" is one such device.
What
Should I Do if I Have Already Cast My Vote For the "Lesser of
the Evils"?
For those of you who
acknowledge that you have (either recently or years ago) voted for the "lesser of the evils" and
now desire to take back the place you unknowingly gave the devil
due to this compromise, you
can do this by first confessing your sin to God:
"If we
confess
our
sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our
sins, and to cleanse us
from all unrighteousness." (1 John 1:9)
Next, take back the
spiritual place you unwittingly gave to the devil by voting
for candidates who represent his interests. You can use the words I have provided or choose
your own wording. The point is to recover the spiritual "place" you
gave to the devil so that you can effectively pray
against his wicked devices:
In the name of my Lord
and Savior Jesus Christ, I am closing the spiritual
place I gave to the devil by voting ——— into office to
do Satan's bidding. (Name the candidates.) I renounce bidding God speed to those who are doing the devil's
bidding.
Dear Father in Heaven,
help me to effectively stand against the wiles of the
devil in prayer and point out to me any other ways I
have unknowingly compromised my right (in the name of
Jesus Christ) to have spiritual authority over the power
of the enemy. In Jesus' name, Amen
May God help his people,
who are called
out of darkness into his
marvellous light, to stand against the wiles of the devil
and to further the work and Word of God through effectual,
fervent prayer.
